Section 01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to website owners.

Similar technologies — such as web beacons (clear GIFs), pixel tags, and local storage — work in comparable ways and are also covered by this policy. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies."

Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses to your device. They are unique to your browser and cannot access other data on your computer. We treat all data collected via cookies in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Do Not Track

Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not wish to be tracked. Currently, there is no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals.

At this time, Ornetis does not alter its data collection practices in response to DNT browser signals. We will revisit this position as industry standards evolve. You can manage your tracking preferences using the methods described in Sections 6 and 7.

Section 09

When you first visit our website, we present a cookie consent banner that allows you to:

  • Accept all cookies (including optional categories)
  • Reject all non-essential cookies (only strictly necessary cookies will be placed)
  • Customize your preferences by category

By continuing to browse without making a selection, only strictly necessary cookies will be placed. Your consent preferences are stored and respected on subsequent visits. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time via our Cookie Preferences Center (link in the website footer).

Where required by law (e.g., GDPR in the EU/UK, PECR in the UK, CCPA in California), we obtain your affirmative consent before placing non-essential cookies.
